I retired in 2013 after 29 years of teaching. I wrote a weekly education column for newspapers in the Rio Grande Valley for over 20 years before deciding to become a blogger! My goal is to inform and inspire public-ed employees and retirees to get engaged and to fight for public education and for the benefits we are/were promised throughout our careers!
