All Things Public Education: Bills to Watch in the Texas Senate
Obviously,
fewer bills have been filed in the Texas Senate, which has 31 members, than in
the House, which has 150. Here is the list of public-education-related bills
that have been filed in the Senate as of Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Of course you
can see the complete list of bills (and resolutions) here.
This is the
companion to my January
22 post on House bills filed. Once again, I have categorized them to make
the search process easier. Remember that there is some overlap--School Safety
and Mental Health, for example.
